Through our work, you will begin to make the necessary and effective changes to become the person you’ve dreamed of being.

Couples Therapy

Who it’s for

Couples therapy is most often sought out to work on a particular issue or to simply strengthen the connection between partners. Some common topics addressed are:

  • Communication & Conflict Resolution
  • Difference in personality or lifestyle
  • Mismatched sex drive
  • Anxiety & Stress management
  • Loss of Intimacy & Connection
  • Life transitions (new baby, move, career)
  • External family conflict

How it works

Together we will explore the intricacies of your relationship. We begin with a couples intake session followed by individual sessions used to gather background information and learn about each of you as partners and individuals.

In subsequent couples sessions we will look at behavior patterns, communication style, and I will support you as you make effective changes to grow closer to one another while maintaining your personal identity.

Sex Therapy

Who it’s for

Sex therapy can be helpful for individuals or couples looking to explore their sexuality, relational patterns, difficulties with intimacy, gender roles and expectations, or simply find better ways to connect emotionally and sexually. Some common topics discussed are:

  • Mismatched sex drive
  • Low sexual desire
  • Pain during sex
  • Fear of intimacy
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Performance anxiety
  • Pre-mature or Delayed ejaculation
  • Trauma or abuse (sexual, emotional, verbal, physical)
  • Shame or guilt

How it works

There are many misconceptions about sex therapy, but there is no nudity, physical exams, or touching between therapist and client(s).

I use a holistic approach to help each client reconnect with their body, communicate their needs, and allow themselves to experience pleasure. Discussing sex and sexuality can evoke feelings of shame or embarrassment for some.

In order to create a safe and shame-free space we work to establish stable communication prior to exploring these areas.
